  • Author: Gourmey Recipes
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 24 servings 1x

Description

Crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned chicken wings cooked straight from frozen in the air fryer — no thawing needed!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb frozen chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: your favorite wing sauce (buffalo, BBQ, etc.)

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  • Place the frozen chicken wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Air fry for 10 minutes to partially thaw and render some fat.
  • Remove wings, pat them dry, and toss in olive oil and seasonings.
  • Return wings to air fryer and cook for another 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and cooked through (internal temp 165°F).
  • If using sauce, toss the wings in the sauce after cooking and air fry for an additional 2–3 minutes.
  • Serve hot with dipping sauce and celery sticks if desired.

Notes

Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket for even cooking. Cook in batches if needed.
