- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
- Stir in the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Stir gently until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips (if using).
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
