- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels.
- Place wings in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to coat.
- In a small bowl, mix all spices to make the dry rub.
- Sprinkle the dry rub over the wings and toss until evenly coated.
- Place wings on a wire rack over a baking sheet.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and cooked through.
- Let rest a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra crispy wings, let them air dry in the fridge for a few hours before seasoning. Adjust cayenne pepper based on spice preference.
